Abitibi & Co.
Why we love them? Made from locally sourced wood, and handcrafted in Quebec, Canada. These beautiful canoes are built to last, they can handle all kinds of water conditions from Great Lakes to rivers. Grab some friends, your new Abitibi Canoe designed by Norquay Co., and portage your way into your next outdoor adventure.
Why we love them? The Anima Love toys are all crafted by hand, our favorite are Cat Toys, specifically the felted wool balls. The balls are made of 100% natural hand felted wool, right in Montreal Quebec. They are beautifully colourful, and would make a great center piece on your front hall table, even if you don’t have a house full of cats.
Why we love them? The gorgeous line of clothing is ethically made of natural materials, like certified organic cotton. The timeless designs offer comfort and practicality, with little design details and cuts that put special emphasis on the textiles they use for each garment. Atelier B serves up classic looks for men and women. Our favs are the underwear made of 90% organic cotton and 10% spandex, the fabric is knit and dyed in Canada, and includes a selection of amazing high-waisted briefs.
Cosman & Webb
Why we love them? Pure, organic maple syrup, what’s not to love. There really isn’t much more to say. This delicious nectar of the dogs comes in medium and dark amber varieties. Then even offer maple sugar for those looking for a new ‘natural’ sweetener. If you are true syrup lover you can order their annual supply package which includes 6 x 1 litre bottles of Grade A Dark Amber Organic Maple Syrup, *drool*.
Why we love them? Mylene and Jean create their beautiful one of a kind works in Piedmont, Quebec. Their creations make the perfect addition to your front hall, or as a centerpiece for your family room. No two pieces are the same, so you won’t have to worry about seeing your piece in your neighbour’s home. Our favourite are the one of a kind wood mounted moose heads, they provide that quintessential bit of Canadiana.
Why we love them? Cute, cute, cute! You know when you see a toddler walking down the street with better style than you? They are probably wearing Lou Marine. We are so in love and a little jealous that these eco-friendly Quebec made outfits are made only for kids. Snuggly and sweet, wrap your little one in Lou Marine.
Quai des Bulles
Why we love them? When we came across Quai des Bulles soaps in a shop in downtown Toronto, we gravitated toward their beautiful look, and arousing scents. We found out that all their products are made from natural and biodegradable raw materials: cold pressed oils, dried herbs, plant extracts, emulsifiers and vegetable waxes, essential oils of therapeutic quality etc. Of course sourcing local is important to us, so we love that they make an effort to use ingredients from the region: the essential oil of fir or cedar, Gaspé seaweed, wild rose flowers, Manicouagan mud, apples, blueberries, carrots, Sea buckthorn, beeswax and even beer! Their products are good for your head right down to your toes, and great for pets too. We highly recommend picking up each bar, breathing in each scent, and finding your next true love. [We love the charcoal soap – pictured below]. You can even visit them at their factory and try crafting a special soap of your very own.
Second Denim Co.
Why we love them? While we aren’t committed yoga enthusiasts ourselves, we are devoted to great looking and comfortable pants. We are sure your drawers are filled with a few pairs of yoga pants, and even more pairs of jeans. The geniuses at Second Denim Co. made the amazing decision to work on combining our two favs and gave the world Yoga Jeans. We love the style, fit and comfort but also we are huge fans of their production process. The team at Second Denim Co. produce their yoga jeans in their Saint-Côme Linière, Quebec facility with the environment and sustainability in mind.
