Spring refresh made easy with Etsy lists
The links included in this post are Etsy affiliate links and will open in a new tab.
We are jumping into Spring head first. After what seemed like the year that would never end, we are ready for a bit of normal. While that may not mean hitting up the stores or handmade markets just yet, I like to get my pre-shop on. I’m prepping for simple Spring home makeovers, items to keep the kiddo happy and healthy, and a little something for myself. I love to go to Etsy.ca and get my lists loaded up.
Once I’ve added items to my list, it’s super easy to find them again and pop them into my cart, or see what else that maker has been up to. If you are looking for a Spring refresh inspiration, I invite you to check out my Favourites Page, and keep reading below for my must haves.
If you want to see some of my Favourite Shops, they are all gathered to one easy to browse page. I tend to keep my preferences to ‘local shops’, but some international makers just had to be added.
You are probably wondering why I have even mention Etsy lists in this post. Well I am going to give you some insider info on why you’ve got to start using them, like today. Be sure to read to the end, tip 4 is pretty key.
My Must Have Spring Refresh Items
My lists consist of items I generally shop for all year round. You’ll find things for my home, for my kid (he’s 4 now), for my ‘other half‘ and for me, of course. With the weather changing, and the world hopefully on it’s way to healing, my family and I plan to get outside and enjoy. So that said, I wanted to highlight a few items that are hitting my cart for Spring.
- I am loving the colours and the vibe from this Abalone Sunrise Kimono from Wildflowerdyes
Fresh ‘Hold Everything’ Bag
- A new custom bag from Cloud Rabbit Designs is on my 2021 must have list.
Fresh Face Masks
- Of course the family needs new face masks because we love the reusable kind, but our little guys head is growing constantly, so new masks for him is more of an essential need than a Spring refresh. The more he loves the characters on the mask, the more comfortable he is wearing them.
- Our kiddo will love his new Pokémon mask from ZENMASKSHOP.
- Love sunglasses but sometimes you just need to toss on a lid, I love a fedora but also enjoy a great baseball hat. For something a little different I like this combo beach visor / hat from TeteMoutinho.
Why create a list?
I create these lists for a number of reasons, so here’s some tips from me to you.
One – Stay Organized
If you are like me and typically have a trillion projects on the go, then you love a great list. Being able to keep your favs sorted into lists instead of one big grab bag saves so much time when you’re ready to go back and make purchases.
Two – Show Love
Each time you ‘favourite’ an item or a shop, the maker will get a notification. Letting them know people are finding and loving their items, helps to keep them inspired and feeling fired up to make more awesome!
Three – To Never Forget!
I am always on the look out for birthday gifts, holiday decor and simple items to update my home decor. It’s not always the time to buy, so I create lists and add items to them so they are never forgotten. Also, if you’ve just come from a market and snatched up some business cards, look the shops up on Etsy and add them to your Favourite Shops. Then you can always find them easily, and you won’t have to worry about trying to remember which shop had what.
Four – The Added Benefit
Sometimes, not every time, a shop may offer a special promotion or discount to those who have favourited their item or shop. So if you really love something, let the maker know.
So now you should be all set to spring into the new season, inspired and organized! I hope you make some great lists and find new amazing favourite things. Be sure to come back and share them here, you can always comment below and let us know your thoughts.
