We discovered Seilern Farm’s grass fed organic beef at the St. Jacob’s market north of Waterloo, Ontario.
What is so great about this beef is how it is raised. The cattle are left to pasture naturally, and then rotated across the farm in a sort of migratory pattern. This is what grass-fed is meant to be, free range and happy. They say happy cows make for the tastiest beef. You can order individual cuts of meet, or purchase a whole, half or quarter cow, which can be the most economical way if you have a big freezer at home, or other family members to share with.
This type of farming is a return to the old ways, and would fall into the ketogenic or paleo lifestyle should you be into those.
Where To Buy
You can order your grass-fed beef online through Seilern Farm direct. Or find them at the Farmer’s Market locally.
